CV-Library is seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to support their pupils with complex Autism and learning disabilities as a Teaching Assistant. Located in Oxford, this specialist school empowers children from 3 to 11 years old to reach their academic milestones while fostering interpersonal and life skills.
Main Responsibilities:- Provide emotional and mental health support to students
- Collaborate with Teachers and Support Staff to develop positive behaviour strategies
- Support the development of communication through speech and language therapy, visual aids, and Makaton
The ideal candidate will be a Psychology or Criminology Graduate eager to work alongside therapists and psychologists on-site at the school. This opportunity offers invaluable experience working with special needs, neurodiversity, and mental health difficulties.
