Business Development Manager

Job Title: Business Sales
We are seeking an experienced Business Sales professional to join our team at L&S Waste Management. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting and generating revenue for our services in the SO post code areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generating revenue for our services through key account management and new business opportunities.
- Developing awareness of our services in the local market.
- Establishing long-term profitable relationships with key contacts.
- Reviewing and analysing our customer base.
- Organising sales and marketing campaigns.
- Examining market share and providing concise reports.
- Liaising with the sales team to ensure excellent communication.
- Providing quotation information to the Business Development Administrator.
- Monitoring and increasing account customers.
- Recording prospects and client activity.
- Using Glenigan leads to generate new business.
- Staying up-to-date with market changes and legislation.
Requirements:
- Proven track record in the waste, building, or construction industries.
- Experience in the building industry or direct business-to-business sales.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
- Good geographical knowledge.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Working knowledge of Sage ACT or similar systems.
- Experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Ability to multi-task and use initiative.
- Positive, self-motivated, and proactive attitude.
Benefits:
- Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
- Account management bonus (up to £10,000 - £12,000 per annum).
- Commission/new business (up to £1,000 per month).
- Company vehicle.
- 25 days holiday (increasing to 27 after 5 years and 30 after 10 years).
