About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Technical Sales Manager to join our team in the West Midlands. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and establishing customer accounts within the region, generating customer business, and meeting sales targets.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement analytical sales strategies to drive business growth.
  2. Lead a team of sales professionals to achieve regional sales targets.
  3. Provide technical support to customers and internal stakeholders.
  4. Conduct market research and analysis to identify business opportunities.
  5. Project manage initiatives to improve sales performance and customer satisfaction.
  6. Maintain accurate records of sales activity and customer interactions.
  7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement sales strategies.
  8. Perform other related tasks to ensure the effective operation of the sales team.

Compensation Package:

The estimated annual salary for this position is between £45,000 and £65,000, commensurate with experience.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years' experience in industrial sales or a semi-technical work background.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to travel and spend nights away from home as required.
