Job Title: APQP Quality Engineer

Job Summary:

GE Power Conversion, part of GE Vernova, is seeking a highly skilled APQP Quality Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our quality team, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality products that meet customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quality-related issues.
  2. Develop and implement quality control plans to ensure compliance with ISO9001/AQAP2110 standards.
  3. Conduct product and process audits to identify areas for improvement.
  4. Work with suppliers to resolve quality issues and ensure compliance with quality standards.
  5. Develop and maintain quality documentation, including control plans and FMEA's.
  6. Lead quality audits and provide training to quality awareness.
  7. Report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure quality standards are met.
  8. Participate in the development of new products and changes to current products.

Requirements:

  1. Knowledge of quality systems, measurement tools, and techniques.
  2. Experience with APQP, PPAP, and FMEA.
  3. Lean Manufacturing knowledge, VSM, and Gauge R&R.
  4. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  5. Knowledge of engineering drawings and manufacturing processes.
  6. Knowledge of NATO standards AQAP2105/2110.
  7. Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  8. Sole British citizenship with a valid British Passport and SC level clearance.
