Job Title: Quality Assurance Inspector
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Inspector to join our team at Wallace Hind Selection Limited. As a Quality Assurance Inspector, you will be responsible for verifying machined parts and fabricated assemblies to ensure conformance to specification at set-up, during production, and final inspection.
Key Responsibilities:
- Final inspection of all products to ensure quality and accuracy
- Liaise with staff and supervisors to ensure smooth production process
- Prepare data as required for use by departments within the company
- Provide assistance to other departments, managers, and directors as required
- Maintain agreed quality non-conformity targets within the inspection team
- Maintain internal non-conformance records
- Aid manufacturing departments with any suspected faults
- Liaise with quality engineering team to update on internal non-conformance results
Requirements:
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings
- Ability to make decisions and use own initiative
- Good communication skills both verbally and written
- Experience of inspection equipment such as digital callipers, height gauges, etc.
- Experience of inspection in a production environment
- Ability to attend work regularly and punctually
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Self-motivated
- Methodical and precise
