Key Responsibilities- Develop and Implement Quality Processes
Work with our Engineering team to define process parameters and criteria to ensure supplier process capability is effective to meet product and process requirements.
Lead Supplier Approval ProcessAssess manufacturing/technology capabilities and Health, Safety, and Environmental risks of our suppliers.
Conduct Root Cause Analysis and Corrective ActionsFacilitate root cause analysis and corrective actions of supplier quality issues, and perform on-site supplier visits to verify correction actions.
Collate and Evaluate Supplier Quality DataCollect and evaluate supplier quality data to identify process improvement opportunities within the supply chain.
Requirements- Relevant Qualifications
A relevant business/commercial or manufacturing/engineering degree, or HNC, or equivalent NVQ level 4 qualification.
Strong Knowledge of Quality SystemsKnowledge of quality systems and measurement tools and techniques, including Advanced Quality Planning (APQP), Part approval processes (PPAP), and Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA).
Excellent Communication SkillsAbility to present data effectively and work independently with minimal supervision.
