About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at GE Aviation. As a key member of our Supply Quality Organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our products and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Quality Processes

Work with our Engineering team to define process parameters and criteria to ensure supplier process capability is effective to meet product and process requirements.

Lead Supplier Approval Process

Assess manufacturing/technology capabilities and Health, Safety, and Environmental risks of our suppliers.

Conduct Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Actions

Facilitate root cause analysis and corrective actions of supplier quality issues, and perform on-site supplier visits to verify correction actions.

Collate and Evaluate Supplier Quality Data

Collect and evaluate supplier quality data to identify process improvement opportunities within the supply chain.

Requirements
  • Relevant Qualifications

A relevant business/commercial or manufacturing/engineering degree, or HNC, or equivalent NVQ level 4 qualification.

Strong Knowledge of Quality Systems

Knowledge of quality systems and measurement tools and techniques, including Advanced Quality Planning (APQP), Part approval processes (PPAP), and Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA).

Excellent Communication Skills

Ability to present data effectively and work independently with minimal supervision.
