Junior QA / Quality Assurance Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior QA / Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. As a Junior QA / Quality Assurance Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality of our products and processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Quality Engineers in all quality-related program activities within the manufacturing plants, ensuring all products meet defined standards.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures and processes.
  • Conduct audits and inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quality issues.
  • Develop and maintain quality documentation, including inspection plans, control plans, and prototype evaluation plans.
  • Support the team with manufacturing plant audits, production of required documentation, and support Quality Inspectors.
  • Support requalification testing of products and conduct MSA / Measurement System Analysis studies and SPC / Statistical Process Control studies.
  • Problem-solving using quality tools, such as 6-sigma, 8D, Ishikawa, and 5-why.
  • Maintain production quality documentation, including Alerts, PFMEA, Control Plans, and SOI's.
  • Report quality-related data to Management.
Requirements:
  • Some previous experience within a Quality Assurance-based role, preferably within a manufacturing / factory-based environment.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office / 365 (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Engineering knowledge.
  • Full driving license required as there will be times when you need to visit other sites.
  • A pool car is available during working hours.
