About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at Alcohols Limited. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will play a critical role in maintaining our management systems and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date management system files, both physical and electronic.
  • Respond to customer queries and provide support for regulatory reporting and registration requirements.
  • Lead the management of change process and drive continuous improvement of our management system.
  • Administer the complaints system and coordinate internal actions.
  • Support investigations and drive the use of Root Cause analysis techniques.
  • Act as lead auditor or point of contact for external standards audits.
  • Coordinate internal audits and support the T&RA Manager with quality metrics and performance reporting.
  • Play an active role in the technical network and provide support for technical data and information.
Requirements
  • Degree in Chemistry or a related subject.
  • Experience in Quality and Compliance systems, complaint management, and root cause investigation.
  • QC and analytical data handling skills.
  • ISO lead auditor training and a Quality Management qualification are desirable.
  • Awareness of chemical legislation such as CLP, REACH, and GHS is beneficial.
  • Practical problem-solving skills and flexibility to support a dynamic business.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • IT literacy and ability to collate data from multiple sources.
