Housing Standards Officer (Private Sector Housing)

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive professional to manage a caseload of HMO Licensing inspections, ensuring compliance with licence conditions and maintaining accurate records.

This role involves working closely with various stakeholders, including landlords, tenants, and other regulatory bodies, to promote safe and healthy living conditions for residents.

As a key member of our team at We Manage Jobs(WMJobs), you will contribute to the enforcement of housing standards and develop your skills in building construction and customer-focused services.

About the Role

Salary: £30,060 - £32,654 per annum (pro-rata)

Hours: 30 hours per week

Contract Type: Permanent Post

Requirements

  • HNC or equivalent qualification in a relevant discipline
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in delivering customer-focused services
  • Knowledge and experience of building construction and/or the private rented sector
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
