About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated Sales professional to join our team at Kpler, a leading provider of global trade information and insights. As a key member of our Sales team, you will be responsible for growing our customer base and driving revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute business development activities to strategically grow the customer base through prospecting and cold calling.
  • Own the full sales cycle, from prospecting and developing opportunities to demoing our product and closing sales.
  • Follow up on highly qualified opportunities at mid-sized and large companies.
  • Build relationships with prospects and internal stakeholders to grow new business.
  • Collaborate with our global Sales team, product and market analysts to build the best product in the market and close exciting global deals.
  • Conduct live demonstrations of our web application through virtual or physical meetings.
  • Provide accurate and up-to-date forecasts for weekly, monthly, and quarterly.
  • Exceed activity, pipeline, and revenue targets, and lead contract negotiations.
  • Help build and drive sales processes and strategy.
  • Represent Kpler at industry events and conferences up to 5 times a year.

Requirements:

  • Significant experience (4 years+) selling data/tech/software to Maritime/Shipping/Supply Chain/Energy markets.
  • Successful track record of selling a complex product or proposition by taking a consultative approach.
  • Significant SAAS/DAAS and B2B sales experience.
  • Experience generating brand-new business sales opportunities.
  • Driven and self-disciplined, with the ability to work in autonomy and thrive in unstructured, fast-paced environments.
  • A team player who always puts the business first, with an eye on maximizing long-term gains.
  • Strong proven sales negotiation and sales closing skills.
  • Excellent customer service, active listening, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex client requirements and needs.
  • Great attitude and motivation.
