We are currently seeking a Maritime Industry Growth Specialist who will be responsible for driving long-term growth in the Maritime sector.

The successful candidate will oversee a diverse array of strategic initiatives, including identifying innovation opportunities, developing business models through research and financial analysis, collaborating with partners, and coordinating with relevant teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply skills in entrepreneurship, adaptability, and agility to support and lead the development and execution of new initiatives aligned with growth objectives.
  • Conduct detailed market analysis, create market requirements documents, and develop business cases as needed.
  • Provide in-depth financial analysis to support risk management and strategic decision-making.
  • Develop market intelligence to facilitate informed decisions and drive revenue growth.
  • Represent the company at international conferences, seminars, and trade shows, contributing to thought leadership and expanding the professional network.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert to support business unit leadership as required.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Experienced in business and strategy development, ideally within the maritime or satellite communications sectors.
  • Proven ability to navigate complex industry ecosystems and collaborate effectively with vessel operators, third-party providers, and other stakeholders.
  • Skilled in independent market research, business model assessment, and building business cases.
  • Strong background in creating complex financial models, including cash flow and income statements.
  • Interest in and understanding of innovation ecosystems, particularly in maritime or satellite communications.
  • Strategic vision with strong interpersonal skills to communicate and gain buy-in for long-term goals.
  • Solid analytical skills with a talent for planning and executing strategies.
  • Strong presentation and public speaking skills, with the ability to influence decision-making at all organisational levels.
  • Proven track record of integrity, commercial acumen, and the ability to drive growth in a fast-paced environment.

The estimated salary for this role is approximately $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
