Job Title: SEN Specialist Teacher

Your new role involves working with a student with complex needs in Reception. The school has received funding for a qualified teacher to provide focused and tailored support for the pupil. You will work with the main class teacher to provide the best possible education for this pupil.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized support to the pupil with complex needs
  • Work collaboratively with the main class teacher to develop and implement a tailored education plan
  • Use your expertise to support the pupil's social, emotional, and academic development
  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers to ensure a consistent approach
Requirements:
  • UK Qualified Teacher Status
  • Experience in working with SEN children
  • Ideally have experience working in a SEN setting
  • Must be consistent and reliable
  • Must be patient and understanding of the root causes of behavioural issues
