Governance and Patient Safety Coordinator

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Governance and Patient Safety Coordinator to join our team at University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust (UHBW). As a key member of our Governance team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of excellent patient care and safety across our hospitals.
Key Responsibilities- Provide support across all aspects of patient safety, incidents, and governance issues.
- Work closely with the Governance team to identify and implement improvements to patient safety and governance processes.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders across the Trust to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of governance policies and procedures.
- Provide analytical reports and recommendations for improvements to patient safety and governance processes.
- Experience of working in a large multi-professional organisation.
- Knowledge and understanding of Governance and the key components.
- Knowledge and understanding of the NHS and CQC.
- Ability to produce analytical reports and identify recommendations for improvements.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively and sensitively at all levels, verbally and in writing.
