About the Role
University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust (UHBW) is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our Governance Team as a Governance and Patient Safety Coordinator. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the delivery of excellent patient care and improve the safety of our services.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide support across all aspects of patient safety, incidents, and governance issues.
- Work collaboratively with the Governance Team to identify and implement improvements to patient safety and governance processes.
- Develop and maintain accurate and comprehensive records of incidents and governance issues.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of governance policies and procedures.
- Provide analytical reports and recommendations for improvements to patient safety and governance processes.
Requirements
- Experience of working with systems and databases.
- Experience of data input and extraction.
- Experience of working in a large multi-professional organization.
- Knowledge and understanding of Governance and the key components.
- Knowledge and understanding of the NHS and CQC.
Desirable
- Experience of working within a clinical environment.
