This is a key role providing administrative support for our small friendly corporate Patient Safety Team. Excellent IT and communication skills to support the team are essential.
Key Tasks- Provide administrative support for the corporate Patient Safety Team.
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with team members and other stakeholders.
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of administrative tasks and duties.
- Support the team in the development and implementation of patient safety initiatives.
- Contribute to the maintenance of effective communication and collaboration within the team and with other stakeholders.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Significant experience of managing a complex and varied workload.
- Extensive experience in dealing with highly sensitive enquiries and information.
- Experience of working in a role with a focus on good record keeping.
- Previous NHS experience.
- Understanding and use of specialist medical terminology.
- Knowledge of NHS policies and/or procedures.
- Excellent IT skills in Microsoft Word, Outlook E-mail, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Excel.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Effective organisational skills and ability to plan and co-ordinate activities.
- Ability to develop good working relationships with a wide range of staff, patients and families.
- Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
