Acute Care Specialist

Nhsscotland is seeking a highly motivated Acute Care Specialist to join our team at Caithness General Hospital, Wick. As a Senior Staff Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-standard acute clinical care to patients and supporting staff members in completing further training and gaining experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- To develop and maintain effective relationships with patients, families, and colleagues
- To participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to service developments
- To mentor and supervise junior staff members
Requirements:
- Degree in Nursing or equivalent qualification
- Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC)
- At least 3 years of experience as a Staff Nurse in an acute care setting
Benefits:
- Salary: £36,000 - £46,000 per annum

Contract Details:
This is a fixed-term part-time post of 23 hours per week, worked as a rotational contract. The post will cover a period of maternity leave until 30th November 2025.
