Job Overview:
Nhsscotland seeks a dedicated Healthcare Professional to join our team at Caithness General Hospital, Wick. As a Senior Staff Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-standard acute clinical care to patients and working closely with the multi-disciplinary team to deliver evidence-based patient-centred care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To assess and evaluate patient needs and develop individualized care plans
  • To coordinate and implement care strategies with other healthcare professionals
  • To educate patients and their families about health conditions and treatments

Requirements:
  • Degree in Nursing or equivalent qualification
  • Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC)
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Staff Nurse in an acute care setting

Working Hours:

This is a fixed-term part-time post of 23 hours per week, worked as a rotational contract. The post will cover a period of maternity leave until 30th November 2025.
