Job Description

The role of the Apprenticeship Training Specialist is to develop and implement comprehensive training programmes for our toolmaking workforce. This involves assessing training needs, designing and delivering training curricula, and ensuring compliance with relevant policies and regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Assessing Training Needs: Identify areas where training is required and develop a plan to address these gaps.
  • Developing Training Programmes: Create training curricula, programmes, and materials tailored to the specific needs of our toolmaking processes and technologies.
  • Compliance: Ensure all training programmes meet relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with the latest training methods and techniques, and incorporate these into our training programmes.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other RWC departments to ensure alignment with overall business objectives.

Requirements

  • Analytical: Strong analytical skills to identify training needs and evaluate training effectiveness.
  • Learning & Development: Strong understanding of learning and development methods, ability to develop and deliver training and assess competence.
  • Manual Machining Skills - turning, milling, drilling, and grinding.
