We are seeking a dedicated and experienced RSCN to join our team as a Paediatric Nurse Manager in West Yorkshire. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality care to children and their families.

About the Position

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and delivering tailored care plans, providing ongoing monitoring and support, and managing the multidisciplinary team. You will work closely with carers, training and supporting them with their clinical skills and activities.

This role requires excellent communication skills, both verbally and written, to liaise effectively with patients, families, and the multidisciplinary team. You will also be required to build and maintain sophisticated relationships with clients' families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of clients
  • Work effectively with the multidisciplinary team to achieve positive outcomes for clients
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of care plans and make adjustments as necessary
  • Provide education and training to carers on clinical skills and activities
Requirements
  • RSCN qualification with a minimum of 12 months' experience and an active NMC PIN
  • Experience working with adults, as the role initially includes caring for some adults
  • Up-to-date experience of tracheostomy care and ventilators within the last 2 years
  • Advanced communication skills
  • Suitable for Band 5/Band 6 Nurses with evidence of effective leadership and management of HCAs
  • Full UK driving license
