Job Title: Senior Residential Practitioner

The service users are children aged 7 to 17 who have Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) and Mild Learning Difficulties.

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Worker to join our team at SGS Care Ltd. As a key member of our residential childcare team, you will provide high-quality support to our young people, helping them to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To work closely with colleagues to deliver a tailored care plan that meets the needs of each individual child.
  • To promote a nurturing environment that fosters emotional well-being and supports personal growth.
  • To participate in staff meetings and contribute to the development of new initiatives.

Requirements:

  • A Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience working with children with challenging behaviour is essential.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends.
