Autism Support Professional

A leading education specialist in Kirklees is seeking an experienced support worker to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in working with children who have Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), including Autism, Emotional Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) and ADHD.
This role offers a competitive salary of £23,500 - £28,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a generous pay package, the successful candidate will also receive comprehensive training in Makaton, PECS and Team Teach Level 2.
The school caters for children aged 5-18, with a standard Monday-Friday working pattern of 8:15am-3:30pm. As a support worker, you will play a key role in creating positive relationships with pupils and staff, promoting inclusion and supporting the educational needs of all students.
As a member of the school community, you will be expected to work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the best possible outcomes for our students. You will also be encouraged to pursue ongoing professional development, with access to free Continuing Professional Development (CPD) opportunities and a refer-a-friend bonus scheme.
