Job Summary

First Rate Exchange Services is seeking an experienced IT professional to lead our IT Governance and Service Delivery team. As the Head of IT Governance and Service Delivery, you will be responsible for maintaining and growing our IT governance model and processes to achieve a flexible and collaborative approach to IT delivery and service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the IT Governance and Service Delivery team, focusing on people leadership and collaboration with technical delivery teams and business partners.
  • Develop and maintain close working relationships with business partners to ensure services are delivered to service level agreements (SLAs) and business priorities and strategy.
  • Ensure that the correct policies and procedures are in place to meet Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCIDSS) and International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 27001 standards, taking a risk-based approach throughout IT and the wider business to maintain an appropriate security posture.
  • Optimize and maintain a flexible change management process aligned to an Agile development methodology.
  • Manage the process to define the IT delivery portfolio and associated reporting.
  • Set and maintain standards for the IT service desk and associated desktop support.
  • Develop team leads professionally using a coaching style.
  • Work with business owners to develop the IT delivery portfolio.
  • Manage IT risk and IT roadmap.
  • Set change and service policy and monitor.
  • Manage the internal corporate IT, including rate setting and management, service desk, and desktop support.

Requirements

  • Strong people management experience with the ability to motivate teams with diverse skill sets.
  • Knowledge and experience of IT governance and change with the ability to collaboratively improve standards.
  • Solid understanding of IT change and service delivery best practices and processes.
  • Experience of delivering high-quality service to customers/stakeholders.
  • Degree-level qualification, preferably in an IT-related discipline.
  • High enthusiasm, creativity, and a desire to work with an innovative team.
  • High level of planning, liaison, and consulting skills.
  • Strong time management and self-organization in dealing with multitasking.
  • Calm and effective under pressure.
  • Seeks to build strong relationships with internal customers and software vendors.
  • Proactive, confident, and self-motivated.
  • Approaches work with a can-do attitude.
  • Well-developed communication skills.
