We are seeking an exceptional Specialist Support Worker to join our team at Academics Ltd in Carterton. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in providing support to children who require additional help to access education.

Key Responsibilities
  • To provide tailored support to children who require additional help, including creating individualised learning plans and working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team.
  • To track progress and monitor academic and personal growth, reporting to teachers and support staff.
  • To promote independence and growth, encouraging children to achieve their best academically and personally.
  • To maintain a strong understanding of safeguarding principles and take appropriate action to protect the welfare of all children.
Requirements
  • Previous experience working with children, particularly those with special educational needs, is beneficial but not essential.
  • You must be willing to learn and develop your skills and understanding, with a commitment to ongoing training and professional development.
  • An enhanced DBS check is required for this role; if you do not have one, we can assist in facilitating the process.
  • You should be adaptable and resilient, able to adjust your approach to best support each child.

  • Position: Specialist Support Worker
  • Location: Carterton
  • Pay Rate: £83.50 - £90 per day
  • Availability: Full-Time or Part-Time
  • Start Date: ASAP
