About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join our team at Camberley Health Centre.

As a key member of our Intermediate Care Team, you will work closely with our multi-disciplinary team to deliver high-quality, individualized care to patients in the community.

Main Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality, evidence-based care to patients, including assessment, treatment planning, and implementation.
  • Work collaboratively with our team of Physiotherapists, OTs, Nurses, and Rehab Assistants to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Teach patients, carers, and peers to promote independence and prevent hospital admissions.
  • Ensure therapy input is integrated into patients' overall care plans.
  • Operate as an autonomous practitioner, working without direct supervision and at times, lone working.
  • Provide support to unqualified staff and students.
  • Work with managers to develop the service in line with patient need, local, and national developments.
  • Maintain accurate records in line with local standards and The Royal College of Occupational Therapists standards.
  • Maintain confidentiality, privacy, and dignity of patients.
  • Learn, develop, and adapt to change, evidenced in CPD.
  • Operate in a team and contribute to team decisions.
  • Manage own caseload and prioritize work.
