About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Occupational Therapist to join our team at a lovely school in Camberley. The successful candidate will work alongside teachers and specialist staff to support students with learning difficulties, including autism, sensory impairments, physical difficulties, social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs, and associated challenging behaviours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy services to students with complex needs
- Work collaboratively with teachers and specialist staff to develop and implement individualized plans
- Conduct assessments and interventions to support students' physical, emotional, and social development
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with students, parents, and staff
Requirements:
- Graduate degree in Occupational Therapy or related field
- Experience working with children with complex needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm and resilient in challenging situations
