About the Role

The Canadian Affair is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Travel Trade Sales Executive to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with our trade partners in Scotland, North England, and Northern Ireland.

Key Responsibilities
  • Account Management: Maintain regular contact with a portfolio of key accounts through retail field sales, ensuring strong relationships and driving sales growth.
  • Trade Show Representation: Attend trade and consumer shows as required, representing Canadian Affair and promoting our products to trade partners.
  • Incentive Programmes: Implement and manage incentive programmes with our retail trade partners, driving sales and customer engagement.
  • Market Analysis: Analyze market trends, identify sales opportunities, and recommend corrective action to drive business growth.
  • Business Development: Develop and implement strategies to grow our trade business, including escorted familiarisation trips and other initiatives.
Requirements
  • Team Player: A team player with the ability to work unsupervised and as part of a dynamic sales team.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build strong relationships with trade partners.
  • Results Focus: A results-focused individual with a goal-driven attitude and a willingness to go the extra mile to achieve desired results.
  • Business Acumen: Strong business acumen, with the ability to understand and analyze market trends and customer needs.
  • Travel Requirements: Willingness to travel regularly, including overnight stays, to meet with trade partners and attend trade shows.
