Becoming a Volunteer Befriender

We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as volunteer befrienders. As a befriender, you will be paired with a young person and spend quality time together engaging in activities of their choice.

No prior experience is necessary; we provide comprehensive training and ongoing support to ensure your success in this rewarding role.

You will play a vital role in helping young people build confidence, develop positive relationships, and improve their overall well-being.

Job Description:
  • Support and listen to a young person
  • Engage in activities promoting positive relationships and self-esteem building
Requirements:
  • Commit to regular meetings with a young person (1-4 hours per month)
  • Act as a positive role model for a teenager
Salary and Benefits:
  • £30.00 per month
  • Ongoing training and support
