The successful candidate will have a strong passion for supporting children and teenagers with challenging behaviour, as well as a keen interest in mental health and behaviour.
As a Behavioural Support Specialist, you will be responsible for helping to encourage positive decision-making amongst students, building strong relationships, and implementing restorative practices and therapeutic methods.
Key Responsibilities:
- Help to increase attendance and behaviour by engaging pupils through restorative practices and therapeutic methods
- Boost emotional well-being and self-esteem through supportive relationships
- Liaise with teachers and other professionals to ensure effective support for students
