Delivering Exceptional Care

As a Care Assistant at Etive House Care Home, you will play a vital role in our team's mission to deliver exceptional care and support to our residents. You will work closely with our experienced nurses and clinical staff to ensure that our residents receive the highest standard of care.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • You will assist residents with daily routines, such as getting dressed and staying active, while promoting independence and making positive choices.
  • You will follow and support each resident's personalized care plan, providing hands-on help and thoughtful attention to their individual needs.
  • You will keep a close eye on residents' health, communicating any concerns to the Nurse or Clinical Deputy Manager, and helping with calls to relatives or healthcare professionals.
  • You will uphold the dignity and respect of each resident, ensuring they feel valued and cared for in every interaction.
  • You will encourage social interactions among residents and with staff, creating a warm and welcoming environment.
  • You will work with housekeepers to maintain clean, safe, and comfortable living spaces, and respond quickly to emergencies or call bells.
  • You will assist residents who need extra help with eating and drinking, ensuring their nutritional needs are met.
  • You will bring joy to our residents' lives and make them smile every day.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A SVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (preferred).
  • At least 6 months of experience as a Care Assistant (ideally).
  • A genuine interest in caring for the elderly and commitment to delivering excellent service.
  • The ability to bring integrity, respect, and a strong sense of teamwork to everything you do.
