Job Overview

A dynamic and motivated individual is sought to join our team as a Clinical Administrator, overseeing the smooth operational running of the Clinic and Main Reception team. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of supervising staff, building strong relationships, and ensuring efficient administration services.

Main Duties of the Job

  • Supervise and support the Clinic and Main Reception team, ensuring all processes are carried out efficiently and effectively.
  • Participate in departmental HR tasks, including recruitment, selection, training, performance management, and workforce rotas.
  • Be the first point of contact for reception administration issues and work closely with the Outpatient/Ward Clerk Admin Lead and Management team.
  • Attend meetings as a representative for the Outpatient/Ward Clerk Administration Team and participate in internal team meetings.
  • Carry out data validation tasks and audits as requested.
  • Participate in the daily Situation Report (SitRep) meeting to escalate any service shortcomings or failures.

Qualifications

Essential Criteria

  • NVQ level 3 or similar standard qualification or extensive Outpatient experience.

Communication Skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues at all levels.

Experience

  • Relevant supervisory experience, including training of staff in the workplace.

Skills

Essential Criteria

  • Ability to motivate and lead teams to successfully meet goals and standards.
  • Problem-solving skills at an intermediate level, with competence in Microsoft Office packages.

Knowledge

  • Proven working knowledge of the Data Protection Act.
  • Competence in the use of i.PM and the Choose & Book System/Agenda plus the implications.

  • ECDL 2, 3, 4.
