International Rights Specialist

Guild of Master Craftsman Publications is a leading independent publisher based in East Sussex with a strong backlist of over 500 titles, publishing approximately 50-60 new titles each year across three imprints: GMCP (craft & lifestyle), Ammonite Press (illustrated reference, gift and practical photography) and Button Books (design-led children's books). We are seeking an International Rights Specialist to join our small and busy team.
This role presents an exciting opportunity for someone with knowledge, passion, foreign languages, and experience of working in rights to take on more responsibility and have ownership and autonomy in their role. The successful candidate will report directly to the Rights & Marketing Director and be responsible for selling co-editions and licences from start to finish across all imprints and territories. Researching new markets and developing new contacts will also be a key aspect of this position.
Above all, we are looking for an enthusiastic, meticulous, proactive individual who enjoys working independently. This role would suit a Rights Executive with good experience of selling or a Rights Manager looking for a new challenge.
We offer a competitive salary of £40,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus excellent benefits.
