International Rights Specialist

Daniela Schlingmann Literary Scouting Ltd. is seeking an experienced International Rights Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our agency, you will work closely with Daniela and other team members to identify and acquire top-quality international rights for UK fiction, non-fiction, and children's books.
The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience in the publishing industry, prior experience in diary management, and exceptional organisational skills. They will possess outstanding communication skills, be able to juggle multiple tasks under pressure, and have a keen eye for detail. Prior experience in foreign rights, knowledge of foreign languages, and writing copy would be advantageous. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, and Wordpress is essential.
Key Responsibilities:- Diary management and scheduling
- Data entry and research
- Liaising with accounts and clients
- Edit scouting reports
- Manage freelancers
