Care Home Deputy Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as Care Home Deputy Manager at Avery Healthcare. As a key member of our management team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our care home, providing a safe, caring, and stimulating environment for our residents and their visitors.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Management: Provide inspirational leadership and management to the staff team, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Medication Management: Ensure that medication policies and procedures are adhered to, and support with the reviewing of medication and administration.
- Resident Wellbeing: Monitor the wellbeing of each resident, being aware of any changes impacting on care and care plans.
- Quality Assurance: Complete monthly audits, quality indicator reports, and other reports as required.
- Clinical Risk Management: Attend weekly clinical meetings and monitor clinical risk areas in the home.
To be successful in this role, you will possess a minimum of two years' experience working in a similar care environment, in a management position. You will have excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing, and be competent in the use of IT systems.
You will also possess sound knowledge of the Care Standards Act 2000, the key lines of enquiry, and safeguarding. Additionally, you will be adaptive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities at short notice.
