We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Manager to join our team at JEM Childcare Solutions. As a Deputy Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operations of our nursery, working closely with the Manager to ensure the highest standards of care and education are maintained.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the Manager in the overall management of the nursery, including staff supervision and training.
- Lead and support a team of room-based staff, ensuring they have the necessary resources and support to deliver high-quality care and education.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with the latest EYFS framework and Ofsted Regulatory standards.
- Contribute to the development of the nursery's curriculum and ensure that it is delivered in a way that meets the needs of all children.
- Work closely with the Manager to ensure that the nursery's budget is managed effectively and that all financial transactions are accurate and up-to-date.
- A minimum Level 3 Qualification in Early Years/Childcare.
- At least 3 years' previous experience of working in a Day Nursery.
- At least 1 year's experience of leading and supporting teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire, energize, and support others.
- A genuine passion and excitement to work with children and helping others learn.
- Sound knowledge of the latest EYFS framework and regulations.
- A firm knowledge of Ofsted Regulatory standards and requirements.
