Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Care Worker to join our team in Surrey. As a Care Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with their daily needs, promoting their independence, and enhancing their overall quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support individuals with personal care needs, including bathing, dressing, and toileting.
  • Assist with medication management, ensuring timely administration and ordering of medications.
  • Encourage and support individuals to participate in activities that promote social skills, home and life skills, and overall well-being.
  • Monitor and record daily activities, events, and behaviors through our electronic system.
  • Collaborate with the care team to develop and implement personalized care plans that meet the unique needs of each individual.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to individuals, promoting a sense of belonging and connection.

Requirements

  • NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification.
  • Proven experience in care work, preferably in a Supported Living setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with individuals, families, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to meet the changing needs of the service.
  • Full driving license and business insurance (or willingness to obtain).
