Physiotherapy Support Specialist

Dorset HealthCare University NHS Foundation Trust is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Rehabilitation Assistant to join their Community Therapy Team. As a key member of the team, you will work closely with Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists to deliver rehabilitation interventions to adults in the community.
This full-time position comes with an estimated annual salary of £28,000 - £32,000. The team's mission is to provide high-quality care, enabling individuals living with long-term conditions to achieve maximum independence in the community.
About the Role- Supporting therapists in delivering evidence-based interventions to patients.
- Working in various settings, including group sessions, patients' homes, and therapy gyms.
To be successful in this role, candidates must possess a strong educational foundation, including GCSEs or equivalent in English and Maths. They should also have NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in health and social care or be willing to work towards achieving it.
Essential skills and qualities include excellent communication skills, time management under pressure, and flexibility to meet service needs. A full driving license and access to a car for work purposes are also necessary.
