Job Title: Residential Children's Home Team Leader

At Bay View Childcare, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Children's Home Team Leader to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in providing a safe, secure, and supportive environment for young people aged 8-18 with social, emotional, and behavioural difficulties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement care plans that meet the needs of each child, in line with Bay View Childcare's policies and procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with the Registered Manager and other staff members to ensure the smooth operation of the home.
  • Provide guidance and support to staff members to help them build positive relationships with the children.
  • Ensure that all legal requirements, Ofsted standards, and Bay View Childcare's policies and procedures are adhered to at all times.
  • Participate in regular supervisions and contribute to the ongoing development of the team.

Requirements:

  • Diploma Level 3 in Working with Children & Young People.
  • Full UK driving license.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality care and support to young people.
