Job Title: Children's Residential Team Leader

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Team Leader to join our Children's Residential team. As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for supporting and guiding a team of support workers to provide high-quality care and support to children and young people in a residential setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of support workers to ensure the smooth running of the shift
  • Support children and young people to maintain and develop relationships with friends and family
  • Encourage children and young people to integrate with the local community through clubs and leisure activities
  • Safeguard vulnerable children and report any suspicion or evidence of harm
  • Undertake housekeeping and maintain standards of hygiene within the home

Requirements:

  • Level 3 in Children's Residential Care
  • Minimum of 2 years working in a residential setting
  • Minimum of 1 year experience of leading a team
  • Full UK driving licence (manual)
  • Able to work long days and complete sleep-ins
