About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Sales Team Leader to lead and grow our Inside Sales team at AQA and AQA Affiliates. As a key member of our sales leadership team, you will be responsible for driving the growth of our business by leading and developing a high-performing sales team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and guide the development of the Inside Sales team to achieve excellence in lead generation, customer engagement, and support for our field-based Account Managers.
  • Allocate resources relative to demand to maintain a strong and positive customer experience from first contact to first results day.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to team members to help them achieve their full potential.

Requirements
  • Proven experience in a B2B inside sales environment with a strong track record in sales coaching and mentoring.
  • Confident leadership abilities with a passion for developing and supporting team members.
  • A proactive and flexible approach to meet business and customer needs.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and excellent communication abilities.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (training on Microsoft Dynamics provided).
  • Experience of leading and organizing projects.
  • Sector knowledge of the education industry is advantageous but not essential.
