Regional Sales Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Sales Manager to join our team at Kemp Recruitment Limited. As a Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing and supporting a regional sales team in securing 'Preventative Maintenance' contracts for Industrial and Automatic doors.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Internal Team Communication: Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  2. Customer Surveys: Conduct thorough site surveys to identify customer needs and preferences.
  3. Quote and Order Management: Lead the process of submitting and securing quotations or tenders in accordance with company estimating rules and pricing policies.
  4. Follow-up and Follow-through: Ensure timely follow-up on quotes and orders to maintain customer satisfaction and drive sales growth.
  5. Sales Opportunities: Identify and capitalize on sales opportunities to maximize revenue and achieve sales targets.
  6. Materials and Equipment Quotes: Obtain quotes for materials, goods, and equipment to support sales efforts.
  7. Health and Safety: Attend health and safety meetings to ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
  8. Marketing and Digital Media: Support marketing campaigns and digital media initiatives to promote products and services.
  9. Hazard Identification: Identify hazards on customer sites and implement measures to mitigate risks.
  10. Out-of-Hours Rota: Participate in out-of-hours rota to ensure 24/7 customer support.
  11. Customer Enquiries: Respond to customer enquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  12. Customer Relations: Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction.
  13. Manufacturing Details: Identify and complete manufacturing details to support sales efforts.
  14. Supplier Drawings: Sign off and approve supplier drawings to ensure quality and compliance.
  15. Sales Targets: Achieve monthly sales targets to drive revenue growth and business success.
  16. Project Walkthroughs: Conduct project walkthroughs with engineer teams to ensure effective collaboration and communication.
  17. Customer Issues: Resolve customer issues in a timely and professional manner.
  18. Technical Surveys: Conduct thorough technical surveys to identify customer needs and preferences.
  19. Site and Vehicle Audits: Conduct site and vehicle audits to ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
  20. Quality Management Systems: Adhere to quality management systems (QMS) to ensure quality and compliance.
  21. Risk Assessment Method Statements: Develop and implement risk assessment method statements (RAMS) to mitigate risks.
  22. Account Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction.
