Clinical Teaching Fellow in Obstetrics and Gynaecology with Interest in Endometriosis

About the Role:
The Clinical Teaching Fellow in Obstetrics and Gynaecology with Interest in Endometriosis is a key position within the Obstetrics and Gynaecology division at St George's University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. This role is designed to enhance the teaching of medical and physician associate students in the Trust and St George's Medical School.
Main Responsibilities:
- Undergraduate teaching activities within the Obstetrics and Gynaecology division
- Research in Endometriosis for 50% of the post holder's time during the week
- Development of teaching skills and registration for the Postgraduate Certificate in Health Education course
- Assistance with endometriosis clinics, theatres, consent clinics, and the endometriosis MDT
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- GMC Registration and MRCOG qualification
- Successful completion of ST4 training in obstetrics and gynaecology or equivalent
- CV demonstrating evidence of interest in Endometriosis and Benign Gynaecology
About the Team:
The Clinical Teaching Fellow will work closely with other Clinical Teaching Fellows in the Trust to enhance the coordination of undergraduate clinical teaching of medical students. The post holder will also have a clear understanding of how this role contributes to the achievement of the trust strategy of delivering outstanding care, every time.
