Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Clinical Fellow to join our team at Barts Health NHS Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical care to patients in our obstetrics and gynaecology department.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership and expertise in obstetrics and gynaecology
  • Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures
  • Conduct audits and quality improvement initiatives
  • Supervise and mentor junior medical staff
  • Participate in on-call rota as a senior registrar
Requirements
  • Full GMC registration
  • Completion of RCOG core ST5 competencies
  • ATSM Advanced LW practice (or eligible to register)
  • ATSM in Acute gynaecology and Early pregnancy (or eligible to register)
  • Senior Clinical Fellow working on a senior registrar rota in Obstetrics and Gynaecology
  • > 12 months of NHS experience in Obstetrics and Gynaecology
Desirable Criteria
  • Relevant CCT or equivalent (equivalence must be confirmed by PMETB/GMC by date of advisory appointments committee)
  • ATSM in Benign Gynaecology
  • Up to date RCOG portfolio or equivalent
  • Log of experience or procedure
  • Obstetric scanning Skills and accreditations Or Intermediate gynaecology scanning skills
