Senior Clinical Fellow

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Clinical Fellow to join our team at Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust. As a Clinical Fellow in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and expertise in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities- Participate in the 1:8 full shift Registrar rota providing cover for both Obstetrics and Gynaecology in a three-tier system.
- Contribute to the development and delivery of our post-graduate medical education programme.
- Join our well-established multi-professional teaching faculty and deliver high-fidelity training in obstetrics via PROMPT, skills and drills, and simulation days.
- Provide lectures, bedside teaching, and assessments in formative and summative undergraduate clinical examinations (OSCE).
- Develop a special interest in medical education and pursue additional ATSMs in areas such as Advanced Labour Ward Practice, Labour Ward Lead, Obstetric Medicine, or High Risk Pregnancy.
- MBBS or equivalent medical qualification.
- Full GMC registration with a licence to practice.
- Evidence of good written and verbal communication skills.
- MRCOG Part 2+3 (UK) or equivalent.
- Recent clinical experience at junior registrar level or above within Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
- Understanding of clinical governance, patient safety, and corporate risk.
