Medicines Management Team Lead

Hca Cancer Network is looking for a talented individual to fill the role of Lead Medicines Management Technician at our Leaders in Oncology Care site in London.
This is a permanent position offering a competitive salary of £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus an attractive benefits package including 25 days holiday per year, private healthcare insurance, and pension contribution.
As a key member of the Pharmacy Team, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing, monitoring, and leading on all aspects of the technician-led clinical oncology pharmacy services to ensure high-quality, innovative, and up-to-date pharmacy services that consistently meet the needs of our clients within the hospital.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing effective medicines management strategies to improve patient outcomes.
- Providing leadership and guidance to Medicines Management Technicians (MMT) to ensure they provide the highest standards of patient-focused care.
- Collaborating with pharmacists to provide a comprehensive Medicines Information service.
- Identifying and mitigating risks within medicines management or other areas of pharmacy.
The ideal candidate will have experience of working in a hospital setting, strong leadership and management skills, and the ability to build effective relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
