Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented Clinical Lead in Emergency Medicine to join our dynamic team at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust. Main Duties:

The successful candidate will be required to work closely with other members of the team to ensure the delivery of high-quality emergency care within the strategic framework agreed upon by the Emergency Medicine Directorate. This will involve leading major trauma calls, managing the full range of patient presentations, and providing clinical leadership and management skills to the team.

Person Specification:

  • Essential qualifications include GMC Specialist Register in Emergency Medicine, Fellowship of the College of Emergency Medicine, or equivalent higher degree, and ATLS, APLS, ALS provider certification.
  • Relevant experience includes completion of training programme in Emergency Medicine and relevant experience in UK or Ireland for clinical leadership.
  • Clinical skills include ability to demonstrate clinical skills in managing the full range of patient presentations and leading major trauma calls.
  • Management skills include understanding of the challenges of clinical leadership and managing a multiprofessional team within financial constraints.
  • Teaching and training experience includes experience of teaching, training, and educational and clinical supervision.
  • Audit experience includes evidence of completion of audit project and implementation of recommendations.
  • Language skills include ability to speak and write English to the appropriate standard necessary to fulfill the job requirements.
