As a Sales Engineer at National Oilwell Varco, you will play a crucial role in delivering upgrades to drill ships and drilling rigs. Your primary responsibility will be to handle incoming requests and proactively present upgrade opportunities that bring value to our customers.

You will work closely with our technical disciplines to provide solutions that meet customer requirements. Your excellent communication skills and ability to build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders will be essential in driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers to drive sales growth.
  • Negotiate business opportunities and contracts with customers to ensure mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Responsible for the sales process, from initial contact to project handover, ensuring seamless execution.
  • Perform other work-related tasks as assigned by management.
  • Comply with all National Oilwell Varco Company and HSE policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience (desirable).
  • Sales engineer experience (essential).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (essential).
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office package (essential).
  • ERP Systems and procurement processing experience (desirable).
  • Exposure to the Oil and Gas Industry (desirable).
