Job Description

Gilson Gray LLP is seeking an HR Generalist to join their team in Edinburgh. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the Human Resources department and possess a strong understanding of HR principles and practices.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing employment documents, including offers, contracts of employment, and letters
  • Managing the HR inbox and responding to queries from employees and management
  • Coordinating new start inductions and training sessions for employees
  • Overseeing paperwork related to employee probation, contract changes, and leavers
  • Ensuring accurate data entry into the HR system and responding to employee queries
  • Running management reports as required
  • Managing the leavers process and obtaining references
  • Conducting DBS and credit checks via Amiqus
  • Assisting HR Managers with projects and initiatives
  • Administering the Length of Service Award scheme
  • Collaborating with Marketing to produce the monthly newsletter

The salary for this position is approximately £29,000 per annum.
