About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Commercial Manager to join our team at Egger. As a key member of our commercial operations team, you will play a critical role in leading pricing and product data initiatives for the UK and IE market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with local and European colleagues to ensure efficient and up-to-date information on relevant tasks.
  • Work strategically to support company success and financial development, as well as the development of automated pricing topics.
  • Support the development of team members through coaching and training, and provide on-demand support and expertise to relevant colleagues.
  • Develop professionally and personally by completing tasks and taking on various responsibilities within the team.
  • Claim responsibility for pricing topics across all customer divisions within the UK and IE market.
  • Work with external sales and customer service teams to ensure complete maintenance and input of customer pricing and related documentation.
  • Act as the main contact person for market-specific topics relating to pricing and product data.
  • Hold main responsibility for wood certification sales-focused topics, working alongside relevant departments to ensure compliance and support customers.
  • Support the definition of product range modules for the UK and IE markets, working with the EDP, PM, and Sales Management teams.
  • Deputise for the Commercial Manager as and when necessary.
Requirements
  • A degree in a business, commercial, or marketing discipline is preferred but not essential.
  • A full UK driving licence is required.
  • Intermediate standard of IT skills and competent use of Microsoft Office products is necessary.
  • Experience in a related role is preferred.
  • Must be well-organised, efficient, personable, and have a good, confident telephone manner.
  • Able to build relationships and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
