Pricing and Product Data Specialist

About the Role

This is a key leadership position within the Commercial department at Egger, responsible for leading pricing and product data initiatives across the UK and IE market. The successful candidate will work closely with local and European colleagues to ensure compliance and strategic alignment, driving efficiency and automation while providing expertise and support to colleagues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure orderly, efficient, and up-to-date information on relevant tasks, exploring improvement possibilities within systems.
  • Work strategically to support company success and financial development, as well as the development of automated pricing topics.
  • Support the development of team members through coaching and training, providing on-demand support, expertise, and training within the areas of pricing and product data.
  • Develop professionally and personally by completing tasks and taking on various responsibilities within the team, ensuring targets and KPIs are met.
  • Claim responsibility for pricing topics across all customer divisions within the UK and IE market.
  • Work with external sales and customer service teams to ensure complete maintenance and input of customer pricing and directly related documentation in the system.
  • Act as the main contact person for market-specific topics relating to pricing and product data.
  • Hold main responsibility for wood certification sales-focused topics (FSC/PEFC) working alongside relevant departments.
  • Support with the definition of product range modules for the UK and IE markets.
  • Deputise for Commercial Manager as and when necessary.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and accuracy in the management of price and product data.

Requirements

  • A degree in a business, commercial, or marketing discipline is preferred but not essential.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Intermediate standard of IT skills and competent use of Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Experience in a job-related role is preferred.
  • Must be well-organised, efficient, personable, and have a good, confident telephone manner.
  • Able to build relationships and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
