Clinical Services Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced leader to fill the role of Deputy Head of Clinical Services at Cheshire and Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. This position offers a unique chance to make a significant impact on the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care.

About the Role

The Deputy Head of Clinical Services will play a pivotal role in supporting the Head of Clinical Services in the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care. Key responsibilities include overseeing quality assurance, managing resources effectively, leading a culture of excellence and collaboration, and translating strategic plans into operational delivery.

This role requires a strong clinical background, excellent leadership and change management skills, and experience in budget management. You will work closely with colleagues across the local health, care, and voluntary sector economy to manage and achieve improvements in Trust services generally.

Requirements
  • Evidence of considerable management experience underpinned by in-depth study and experiential learning.
  • Evidence of leadership and change management.

You will need to demonstrate a deep understanding of project management methodology, service improvement tools and techniques, clinical governance, and the relationship between Commissioners, Providers, Local Authority, and third sector.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of approximately £55,000 - £70,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits that include access to the NHS Pension Scheme, 25 days' annual leave, and flexible working arrangements.
